Installation

Over time, AppleCommander has become many different tools. There are, roughly speaking, two different sets of tools: the original AppleCommander application, and the command-line tools (ac, acx, along with the other specialized tools as well).

Since these sets of tools differ in their installation, the install guide has been split up.

Which application set are you installing?

• AppleCommander application; or
• Command-line tools.

Requirements

As a reminder, when running the native Java applications (*.jar files), the current versions require Java 25.
